Effect: A spectator draws a card from a fanned deck
of cards. The Magician tells the spectator not to show the
card to any one, but to remember it and place on top of the
deck. Then the Magician tells him/her to whisper her card to
some one else. After that, the Magician draws the top card and
shows it to the person who the spectator had whispered it to,
to confirm it is his/her card. The Magician places it back on
top of the deck and ask the spectator who drew the card to
hold out his/her hand. They do so, the Magician places their
card in their hand and tells him/her to cover it with their
other hand, like a sandwich. After that is done the magician
show the next card which is the Joker. He places it back on
the top of the deck and then tells the spectator that he is
going to trade cards with him/her. He takes the Joker, rubs it
on the top of the spectators hands, which are still in a
sandwich form, and then turns over the Joker which is now the
spectators card, and the spectator opens his/her hand and
their card is no longer there, but is replaced by the Joker!!
Card Trick:
To do this trick you will need two Jokers that are
Identical, or two normal cards. Have one on the top of the
deck, and one hid on you some where, pocket is a good place.
Have some one draw a card and inform them not to let any
one see but them self. When that is done, have them place
there card on the top of the deck. Then have them Whisper
their card to the person near them. While they do that, pull
the Other Joker from your pocket and place it on top, with out
them seeing. After they have whispered, Take their card, which
is now the second card (in order to do so, line the cards up
so they can't see the Joker behind it in your hand). Ask them
if that is still there card, then place it back on the top of
the deck. Tell the spectator, who drew the card, to hold out
their hand, then tell them that you're going to place their
card in their hand, and when you do tell them to quickly cover
it with their other hand, Like a sandwich, to prevent you from
taking it. Now they should be holding a Joker which they think
is their card, and their actual card is on the top of the
deck. The second card in the deck now should be the Other
Joker, which you placed there earlier. Show them the Joker by
hiding their card behind it, then place it back on top of the
deck. Tell them that you are going to trade cards with them
with out them even seeing you. Then take Their card, which
they Think is the Joker cause it's on the top, and rub it
against the top of their hands, which should still be in
sandwich form. Then turn over their card and act like you just
switched them. Have them look in their hands to reveal the
Joker.
