Never the Wrong
Card
Original Author: Unknown
Effect: The magician has you pick a card,
and then has you shuffle Then the magician picks out a bad
luck card and tells you to keep it away from the deck. Next,
he (magician) shows you 4 cards and lays them on the table.
Then he shows you the cards 1 more time and then has you hold
out your hand. He (magician) takes off the top 3 cards
(showing each one individually) and has you look at the last
card asking if it's yours. (and of course, it is!)
Card Trick:
Effect: A normal deck of cards is shuffled and a
person from the crowd tells the person performing the trick to
stop pulling the cards back towards them, the card is then
shown to the person and the deck is put back together and
shuffled. The person performing then goes through and selects
the correct card.
Card Trick:
The way to do this is to get the person from the crowd to
shuffle the cards, when they have done this you take the deck
of cards and sneak a look at the bottom card. Then you get the
person from the crowd to tell you to stop pulling the cards
back towards you. You do this by having the bottom of the deck
at the front of your palm and slowly pulling the cards towards
the top of your hand. When your told to stop pulling the cards
back you simply grab the bottom card ( which you've previously
looked at ) with your thumb and slide the cards towards you
making sure that the bottom card is the card that you show the
person from the crowd. To make the card trick effective never
look at the deck of cards after you've sneaked a look at the
bottom card.
A good variation is to after you've peaked at the bottom
card, put the deck down and write down what the card is on a
piece of paper and cover it up, telling the person from the
crowd not to look at it until after, the person has gone
through the deck.
