Effect: A card is drawn from the deck at
random. The spectator holds the card to his chest and the
magician reads his mind and tells him what it is.
Card Trick: The deck is shuffled by the
spectator. You riffle shuffle the deck noting the bottom card
in your right hand. when you riffle shuffle the deck start
with the right hand first which will put the card that you
just looked at on the bottom. Do a false over-hand shuffle
dropping off the bottom card last bringing it to the top. hold
the deck in dealing fashion in the left hand, and with the
left thumb riffle the upper left corner of the deck and have
the person say stop. here comes the slight pain in the @$$
from where they said stop bend the top half of the deck up 90'
so the cards form a v. when you take the top half up to hand
the bottom to the spectator you hold your finger on the top so
you drag off the top card (the one you should still remember
from the beginning) turn your body to the right when you do
this. now tell the spectator to take the top card on the
bottom half and then tell them what it is!!
